Fujin Joins The Fight
Crane faction Support, wind control, revives, and a fortress of a front line

A back-line Support who locks enemies down with wind, brings fallen allies back, and turns the Crane front line into an immovable wall.
TL;DR: Fujin is the Crane faction's premier Support. He chains Confusion and Windbound control, revives a downed ally with Second Wind, and hands the whole front line a stack of survivability buffs. He doesn't carry the damage himself, he makes everyone around him impossible to kill and gives your carries the time they need.

BAMBOO BUSTER
Defensive Profile
Fujin's value isn't on the stat sheet, it's in the team-wide buffs from Azure Vanguard . These are the bonuses he hands to the front line:
Stacked together, these turn a Crane front line into a wall. The Control Resist keeps your tanks from being stun-locked, while Control Precision makes sure Fujin's own Confusion and Windbound actually land.
Skills Breakdown
Bamboo Buster
Active Skill180 / 230 / 280 / 330% damage · 2-round Windbound
Fujin slams the two enemies with the highest Attack, dealing skill damage and applying Windbound, a wind seal that disables their basic attacks and reduces their Speed. If either target is already Windbound, the hit also applies Confusion, making them strike a random target (often their own allies).
Analysis: This is a control skill first and a damage skill second. By always hitting the highest-Attack enemies, Bamboo Buster shuts down the threats that matter most. The Windbound-into-Confusion combo means a single Fujin can neutralise an enemy carry for multiple rounds, disable their basics, then turn their own skill against their team. Cast it early to set the tempo of the fight.
Azure Vanguard
Passive #1+50% HP / +50% Armor / +25% Block / +20% DR (front line)
While Fujin is alive, all front-line allies gain +50% HP, +50% Armor, +25% Block Chance, +20% Damage Reduction, +25% Control Resist, and +25% Control Precision. The buff scales up as Fujin levels.
Analysis: This is the passive that makes Fujin a must-have for any defensive comp. A front line under Azure Vanguard effectively doubles its effective HP once you account for the Armor, Block, and Damage Reduction stacking together. The Control Resist is the hidden gem: it keeps your tanks acting through enemy stun comps, and the whole buff persists as long as Fujin is breathing, which is exactly why enemies will try to focus him.
Soul Strike
Passive #2Revive 1 Crane ally + Second Wind (Speed + control immunity)
The first time a Crane ally would die each battle, Fujin revives them with a portion of their HP and grants them Second Wind, a short burst of bonus Speed and immunity to control. Fujin can only trigger this once per ally per fight.
Analysis: A clutch revive that turns a lost fight into a won one. Unlike most revives that bring an ally back at a sliver of HP, Second Wind hands them a Speed spike and control immunity so they get an immediate turn, perfect for letting a revived carry fire their skill before the enemy can re-kill them. Pairs beautifully with a second reviver like Karma or Nyx to chain comebacks.
Indigo Impact
Passive #3Counter on ally Block · chance to Windbound · Energy on Block
Whenever a front-line ally successfully Blocks an attack, Fujin counter-attacks the attacker for skill damage and has a chance to apply Windbound. Blocking allies also restore a small amount of Energy to Fujin.
Analysis: This is what ties Fujin's kit into a loop. Azure Vanguard's +25% Block Chance means your front line Blocks constantly, and every Block feeds Fujin Energy and a free Windbound application. The more your wall holds, the faster Fujin recharges Bamboo Buster, so a defensive Crane comp generates its own control engine without Fujin lifting a finger.
Charm Perk
Lotus Overdrive
ASCENSION PERKOnce Ascended, Fujin extends his front-line buffs to ALL allies instead of just the front line, and Second Wind can trigger on any faction ally, not only Crane.
Analysis: Lotus Overdrive is what pushes Fujin from a Crane specialist into a universal Support. Buffing the whole team (back line included) lets him slot into rainbow comps, and a faction-agnostic revive means he can be the safety net for any carry you want to protect. If you run Fujin outside a mono-Crane team, this Ascension is close to mandatory.
Key Mechanics
Windbound
A wind seal that disables the target's basic attacks and lowers their Speed. It's Fujin's primary lockdown, re-applying it on an already-Windbound enemy escalates into Confusion.
Second Wind
The buff attached to Soul Strike's revive: a burst of bonus Speed plus temporary immunity to all control effects, so the revived ally acts immediately and can't be re-locked.
Confusion
Forces the affected enemy to attack a random target, frequently their own teammates. Fujin applies it by hitting a Windbound target again, turning an enemy carry into a liability.
Block Counter Loop
Indigo Impact's loop: front-line allies Block (boosted by Azure Vanguard), each Block triggers a Fujin counter and feeds him Energy, which recharges Bamboo Buster faster.
How To Use Him
Front-Line Wall
- • Pair Fujin with Crane tanks to maximise the Azure Vanguard buffs
- • High Block Chance feeds the Indigo Impact counter loop
- • Control Resist keeps your wall acting through enemy stuns
Best for: Defensive Crane comps that win by outlasting the enemy.
Carry Protection
- • Use Second Wind to revive your most valuable damage dealer
- • Lead with Bamboo Buster to disable the enemy's biggest threat
- • Ascend for Lotus Overdrive to protect off-faction carries too
Best for: Glass-cannon teams that need a safety net and a tempo-setter.
Recommended Team Compositions
Mono-Crane Fortress
The home comp. Every ally benefits from Azure Vanguard's full front-line buff package, Soul Strike can revive anyone, and a wall of high-Block Crane fighters keeps the Indigo Impact loop firing all fight. Slow, grindy, and almost impossible to burst down.
Rainbow (Ascended)
With Lotus Overdrive unlocked, Fujin buffs and revives the entire team regardless of faction. Pair him with Zykan and your best off-faction carries to chase faction diversity bonuses without giving up Fujin's protection.
Double-Revive Stall
Stack Fujin with a second reviver so your carry can come back more than once. Behind two Crane bodies and Fujin's buffs, this comp simply refuses to die, ideal for long Hard Mode and Sewers runs where attrition wins.
Synergies & Counters
Synergies
- Crane tanks: Every Crane front-liner soaks up Azure Vanguard's buffs and keeps the Block loop running.
- Glass-cannon carries: Fragile damage dealers love a Support who can revive them and buy them an extra turn.
- Second revivers: Karma, Nyx, or Locke chain comebacks with Soul Strike for near-endless stalling.
- Faction-diversity teams: Once Ascended, Fujin buffs everyone, so he fits rainbow comps chasing diversity bonuses.
Counters
- Single-target burst: If the enemy can delete Fujin in one turn, Azure Vanguard's front-line wall collapses with him.
- Revive denial: Fighters that block revives or kill an ally a second time waste Soul Strike entirely.
- Faster tempo: Teams that out-speed Fujin can land their burst before Bamboo Buster sets up control.
- Defense ignore: Armor-ignore and true-damage carries sidestep most of the survivability Fujin provides.

Final Verdict
Fujin is one of the strongest pure SUPPORT options the Crane faction has ever had. He doesn't deal the damage, he makes sure your damage dealers live long enough to win.
He's at his best in mono-Crane fortress cores, where every buff lands on a body, and in long attrition fights where his revives and Block loop grind the enemy down over time.
Ascend him for Lotus Overdrive and Fujin stops being a Crane specialist and becomes a universal Support you can drop into almost any team. If you run defensive comps at all, he's a top-priority build.
