BLOOD LINE

Active skill - Deals 600% damage to all back-line enemies and has a 75% chance to deal an additional 250% Bleed damage for 3 rounds and steal 15% Attack from each target for 3 rounds. If the target is already Bleeding, deal an additional 250% damage. If the target is actively Poisoned, has a 100% chance to Silence them for 2 rounds. The first time this skill is used, steal 100 Energy from one of the targets and give it to your ally with the highest Attack.

Vex mech boss exists and is harder to damage than typical mechs. As a fighter, Bleed/Poison kit isn't suited for single-boss mech damage — DoTs are negligible against massive HP pools.

Outclassed by dedicated mech carries like Spekkio and Ruby. Speed steal from Viper's Venom has no practical mech value. Energy theft on first skill use is the only notable utility, giving your carry an extra 100 Energy.

club-smash banner

Good Mantis faction mage for club smash. Bleed and Poison synergy with other Mantis DoT fighters creates stacking damage over time. Blood Line targets all back-line enemies while Viper's Venom hits all front-line enemies.

Full-field DoT coverage ensures no enemy escapes damage ticks. Toxic Regeneration heals 450% ATK per Poisoned enemy each round, scaling with the team's Poison output. Silence on Poisoned targets from Blood Line disrupts enemy skill rotations.

Bleed + Poison + Silence combination disrupts multiple enemies simultaneously. Viper's Venom steals 200 Speed from the highest-ATK enemy on round 1, crippling their turn order.

Energy theft on first Blood Line use accelerates ally damage by giving 100 Energy to the highest-ATK ally. Purge of the Python's HP-threshold Skill Damage scaling (+30% below 50%, +60% below 25%) makes Vex increasingly dangerous at low health. Silence immunity keeps him online against CC-heavy compositions.

hard-mode banner

Bleed and Poison AoE from Blood Line and Viper's Venom help with wave clearing alongside dedicated cleaners. Silence on Poisoned targets disrupts boss skill cycles, buying extra turns for the team.

Not a community S-tier but provides strong DoT utility in Mantis hard-mode lineups. Toxic Regeneration's per-Poison-enemy healing gives Vex sustain that scales with how many enemies are affected. Purge of the Python's SD scaling below 50% HP adds burst potential in boss phases.

sewers banner

Effective Mantis faction mage for sewer content. Full-field DoT coverage through Blood Line (back-line Bleed) and Viper's Venom (front-line Poison) ensures all enemies take sustained damage.

Self-healing from Toxic Regeneration scales with the number of Poisoned enemies — in a Mantis Poison-heavy team, this healing becomes substantial. Dual immunity to Silence and Poison provides resilience against sewer debuffs. Energy theft utility helps the team cycle skills faster.

Strong DoT mage for campaign progression. Blood Line covers back-line enemies and Viper's Venom covers front-line enemies, ensuring full-field damage across multi-enemy stages.

Self-healing from Toxic Regeneration sustains across multi-wave stages without external support. Speed steal from Viper's Venom disrupts dangerous enemies on round 1. Purge of the Python's HP-threshold SD scaling provides increasing burst damage as the fight progresses.
