LIGHTNING STORM

Active skill - Deals 400% damage against 4 random enemies and has a 60% chance to Stun the enemy for 1 round.

mech banner

Low base damage (400% to 4 targets) and Stun CC are largely irrelevant against mech bosses. Energy theft from Electric Fury has no practical value in mech's single-target format.

Full-energy start from Electric Shroud (+80 Energy) noted in community discussions but doesn't compensate for weak damage output. Flawless Victory's 100% Crit Damage bonus at full HP is wasted when mech bosses hit too hard to maintain the condition.

Lower power Mantis mage for club smash. Lightning Storm's 60% Stun chance on 4 targets provides AoE CC disruption. Energy theft from Electric Fury steals 60 Energy on Crit basic attacks.

Stealth +50 from Electric Shroud helps survivability in the opening rounds. However, low base stats (50k ATK) limit damage impact compared to Lily and Vex. Best used when the Mantis roster needs a CC-focused mage option.

Energy theft from Electric Fury steals 60 Energy on Crit basic attacks, disrupting enemy skill timing. Lightning Storm's AoE Stun provides multi-target CC. High Stealth (+75 total) makes Toro hard to target.

Flawless Victory conditionals are fragile — any damage breaks the full HP condition (100% Crit Damage), and using energy breaks the full Energy condition (50% Block Chance). Outclassed by dedicated PvP disruptors but viable as a niche energy-denial pick.

AoE Stun from Lightning Storm provides crowd control against minion waves with 60% chance on 4 targets. Energy theft from Electric Fury doesn't help against bosses who operate on fixed patterns.

Low base damage (400% to 4 targets) limits cleaning effectiveness compared to dedicated cleaners. Electric Shroud's +80 Energy start means Toro can Stun on round 1, providing early CC. Better hard-mode options exist in the Mantis roster.

sewers banner

Filler Mantis pick when better options like Lily, Hana, and Vex aren't fully built. Energy theft and AoE Stun provide utility but low base stats (50k ATK) mean he falls off in later sewer stages.

Stealth +75 helps Toro survive longer in sewer attrition. Electric Shroud's +80 Energy start allows an early Lightning Storm on round 1 for immediate AoE Stun. Better as a 4th or 5th Mantis pick rather than a core sewer choice.

Early campaign energy battery — Electric Shroud's +80 Energy start and +200 Energy on first skill use allow rapid skill cycling. Lightning Storm's AoE Stun helps manage multi-enemy waves.

Outscaled by dedicated campaign carries in late-game stages where raw damage matters more than CC. Flawless Victory's full HP conditional is hard to maintain across multi-wave stages. Best used in early-to-mid campaign before stronger Mantis carries are invested.
