CINDER BARRAGE
Active skill - Deals 2 rounds of 300% damage to random rows of enemies and has a 30% chance to deal an additional 300% Burn Damage for 3 rounds. The Burn chance is doubled against Mantis faction enemies. If the target is already Burning, this attack ignores Armor and reduces the target's Crit Chance and Crit Damage by 25% for 3 rounds. After each round of attacks that Flint defeats an enemy, he has a 100% chance to apply Ring of Fire to a random enemy for 2 rounds. Additionally, after each skill attack, Flint boosts the Attack by 25% and Speed by 50 of all Kodiak allies for 2 rounds. (Ring of Fire: The affected fighter takes 350% Burn damage from Flint every time they are directly targeted in battle.)
No role in mech. Burn DoT and Ring of Fire are wasted on a single boss target. Thermal Overdrive's 5-round burst pales next to dedicated destroyers like Spekkio and Chancer.
Kodiak ATK/Speed buff is his only mech value — you're bringing him as a support buffer, not a carry.
Meta-defining. Flint+Karma tag-in creates near-invincible Smash compositions. Thermal Overdrive forces the enemy to kill him twice. Anti-Mantis burn chance doubling is highly relevant.
Four status immunities (Burn, Freeze, Stun, Frostbite) make him nearly impossible to CC. Rising pick in the Jan 2026 Kodiak faction meta.
Strong kit but not part of optimal endgame lineups. Four status immunities make him difficult to CC, and outnumbered healing makes him a nightmare in late-fight 2v1 or 3v1 scenarios.
Anti-Mantis and anti-Brawler counter-attacks add niche value. Viable pick but outclassed by dedicated PvP fighters like Nyx, Raja, and Scythe.
Versatile hard-mode fighter with strong AoE and survivability. Cinder Barrage delivers 2 passes of 300% AoE to clear minion waves, with armor-ignore on burning targets adding boss damage. Thermal Overdrive's full-HP revive with 250% HP shield and +40% ATK/Crit/Crit Damage provides a powerful second life.
Four status immunities (Burn, Freeze, Stun, Frostbite) prevent all CC. Kodiak ATK/Speed buff and outnumbered self-healing add team and personal value. However, burn-to-stun CC is unreliable at 30% burn chance layered with 30% stun on burning — roughly 9% effective stun rate per target. Strong across multiple dimensions but not dominant enough in any single one to define the mode.
Top-tier Kodiak sewer fighter with broad contribution. Cinder Barrage provides strong AoE wave clear at 300% × 2 passes while buffing all Kodiak allies with +25% ATK and +50 Speed. Armor-ignore on burning targets, Ring of Fire, and Inferno Burst's extra 300% hit give him solid damage output.
Thermal Overdrive's full-HP revive plus ally revive is valuable for sewer attrition. Four status immunities, outnumbered healing, DR stacking, and 40% purify on round end make him difficult to remove. Versatile but each individual dimension — AoE, CC, support — is moderate rather than exceptional.
Strong campaign fighter with AoE wave clear and multi-stage survivability. Cinder Barrage's 2-pass 300% AoE handles waves adequately, while armor-ignore on burning targets helps damage scale into late stages. Thermal Overdrive's full-HP revive and 250% HP shield give multi-wave staying power.
Four status immunities mean he can't be stunned or frozen. Outnumbered healing and Ring of Fire's persistent 350% burn DoT on kills keep him effective as allies fall. Burn-into-stun CC is too unreliable at 30% layered probability to serve as a primary CC source past stage 1500, but the overall kit versatility keeps him relevant.
