Also, has a 70% chance to Taunt each enemy for 3 rounds. Gains 30% Armor and Block Chance for 3 rounds each time this fighter lands a Critical Strike. (Taunt: Enemies that are taunted must hit the taunter as one of their targets. If an attack targets multiple enemies, the taunter will always be included. Enemies who are taunted also have 15% reduced Hit Chance.)

Good PvP tank with disruptive Stun. Fishing Lines' front-line Stun can decide arena matches by locking enemy brawlers out of their damage rotation. Stun immunity prevents enemy CC chains from rendering him useless.
Koi Protection intercept forces enemies to deal with Mazu before reaching backline carries. Damage redirect from River Remedy above 50% HP makes him a pseudo-taunt. Strong in Howler PvP lineups.
Primary Howler hard mode tank. Koi Protection's intercept mechanic absorbs boss hits meant for your DPS, and stacking Armor per intercept makes him increasingly durable. Golden Emperor's stat package is the tankiest in Howler.
River Remedy's ally healing supplements Malric's support. Damage redirect above 50% HP centralizes boss damage onto Mazu. Core Howler HM tank — part of the optimal lineup: Malric + Rocco + Talon + Mazu.
Core Howler sewer tank. Koi Protection intercept + stacking Armor makes Mazu progressively tankier across long sewer runs. River Remedy's passive healing sustains the team without requiring energy.
