Formerly A-tier mech carry, now largely obsolete. Energy Storm hits once per ability — worst for damage cap scaling in the multi-hit meta. Chancer does 2x Xeno's mech damage at equivalent investment.
One of 5 fighters with Silence, but mech bosses don't benefit from CC. No Sound in Space's +500% damage to Frozen targets is irrelevant without a freeze source on the mech team. Better options exist at every investment level.
AoE damage with Silence utility. Energy Storm's 2000% distributed damage hits all enemies, and Long-Range's basic attacks target 3 random enemies with 40% Silence chance. No Sound in Space reduces Silenced enemies' Skill Damage by 60%.
Mastery speed update made Xeno faster, causing speed-tuning issues in Smash compositions. Functional but not a standout in the Crane faction Smash lineup compared to Chancer or Scythe.
More reliable than Scythe or Chancer for PvP according to some endgame players. Frontline Xeno at 3000+ trophies is a proven arena strategy. Silence disrupts enemy skill rotations, and +500% damage to Frozen targets synergizes with Locke.
Arena build: Katar + Katana + Khopesh + Naga + Toronbo. Immunity to Silence and Freeze prevents mirror-match lockdown. However, Chancer A2 outspeeds Xeno A7, and Xeno is increasingly outclassed at top-end investment.
Crane faction cleaner. Xeno clears most minions with AoE, enabling Scythe to finish the boss. Long-Range's 3-target basics with Silence chance provide consistent wave control.
Equipment: Knuckles + Katana + Khopesh with full attack perks. Xeno as a HM boss is ranked 4th hardest due to excessive damage output. Part of the Crane HM team but primarily in a utility role — the cleaner, not the star.
Still useful for Silence utility in faction sewers, especially without GM Raja. Xeno + Locke synergy provides bonus damage against Frozen enemies via No Sound in Space's +500% modifier.
Not part of the optimal Crane sewer four (Chancer, Scythe, Locke, Laguna). Fills a fifth sewer slot if available. Silence disruption has value but Crane sewers prioritize burst damage and freeze control over Silence debuffs.
Falling out of the campaign meta. Campaign synergy chain (Laguna buff → Xeno debuff → carry cleanup) still functions but Locke is preferred for freeze control at high stages.
Alternative campaign composition: Locke + Pyra + Hana / Laguna + Xeno + Fenrus. Serviceable AoE cleaner through midgame but outscaled by dedicated campaign carries at stage 1500+. Historically top-tier but now considered a 2024-era pick.
