WEREWOLF FORM
Active skill - Deals 1500% damage to a random enemy and steals 80% of their Attack for 4 rounds.
ATK steal doesn't noticeably work against mech bosses — tested and confirmed by multiple endgame players. Werewolf Form's 1500% single-target damage is decent but can't compete with dedicated mech carries.
Niche counter for Fenrus and Zemus mech bosses at 260 with Mingshe + Toronbo, requiring no weapons. Effective against those specific bosses but useless against Kotaro mech (Kotaro gains ATK from skills, counteracting Okami's steal).
Snowball brawler for Smash. Last One Standing's +40% ATK and Crit Chance per ally death stacks permanently — in a 6v6 Smash losing 3 allies means +120% to both stats. Werewolf Form's 80% ATK steal debilitates enemy carries.
Fresh Meat's crit-based self-healing provides sustain as Okami ramps. Lust for Blood's +55% Crit Chance baseline ensures consistent crits. Gets stronger as fights drag on but needs allies to die first.
Late-fight snowball design that conflicts with PvP's need for immediate impact. Last One Standing requires allies to die before Okami becomes threatening. Werewolf Form's ATK steal is strong 1v1 but fights rarely reach that point.
Fresh Meat's crit healing and Lust for Blood's Crit Chance provide self-sustain. Viable in drawn-out arena fights but outclassed by fighters with immediate offensive or defensive impact.
Described as godly for PvE content. Werewolf Form's ATK steal weakens HM bosses while powering up Okami. Last One Standing's permanent stacking per ally death can make him a formidable carry in longer fights.
ATK steal doesn't work in mech event but does work in hard mode. Fresh Meat's crit healing provides self-sustain. Functional but not part of the core Crane HM team — niche use when the standard four aren't available.
Snowball design has some sewer appeal — Last One Standing's permanent stacking could ramp through long sewer runs. But sewers demand team sustain and control, not solo damage ramping.
ATK steal via Werewolf Form weakens individual sewer enemies. Not listed among Crane sewer specialists. Crane sewer slots are better filled by the core four (Chancer, Scythe, Locke, Laguna) plus Face at high floors.
Strong as an AI enemy in campaign (inflated stats) but weaker when player-controlled. Last One Standing's ally-death scaling can ramp through multi-wave campaign stages where losses are inevitable.
Werewolf Form's ATK steal helps against tanky campaign enemies. Buffed in the Nov 2024 update. Functional but campaign teams prioritize wave-clearing AoE and CC over Okami's single-target snowball design.
