DICE STORM
Active skill - Deals 550% damage to a random number of enemies based on his Dice Roll. If only one enemy remains, the Dice Roll determines the number of attacks against that target. If the Dice Roll is odd, he has a 100% chance to gain a Magic Shield for 2 rounds and deals an additional 350% Frostbite damage for 3 rounds. If the Dice Roll is even, he deals an additional 100% damage with this attack and 350% Curse damage for 3 rounds. Additionally, if the Dice Roll is 3 or less, reduce the Hit Chance of the front line by 30% for 2 rounds. Otherwise, reduce the Attack of the back line by 30% for 2 rounds. (Dice Roll: Starts the battle with a die (1–6) displayed above his head, which is re-rolled at the start of each round or upon revival.)
Meta-defining second damage dealer. Multi-hit Dice Storm can chain up to 12 hits with Focus Mark charm, pushing damage well above 10 billion in endgame compositions. Replaces Scythe at A1+ as the consensus best mech carry alongside Spekkio.
Core of the Chancer block build (Karma/Teryx + Dax + Zemus / Laguna + Spekkio + Chancer). Needs A1+ for consistent dice-6 revive procs. Below A1 too RNG-dependent.
Strong Crane Smash carry with multi-hit burst and defensive dice mechanics. Fortune's Favor grants +5% Skill Damage and Damage Reduction per Crane ally, scaling well in faction-locked Smash. Crane dominates the Howler matchup.
Magic Shield on odd rolls and revive on dice-6 provide survivability. Block Chance and Crit synergies make him dangerous in extended Smash brawls.
Top arena carry at A1+. Fastest champion after Teryx — an A2 Chancer outspeeds an A7 Xeno. Multi-hit Dice Storm punches through Tianlu shields and burst-kills backline targets.
Naga dragon recommended for speed manipulation. Revive on dice-6 adds a second life. Outperforms Xeno in arena at equivalent investment and is more consistent than Scythe for PvP burst.
Strong Crane hard mode carry. Dice Storm's burst damage clears minion waves effectively, and Fortune's Favor's Crane ally scaling is relevant in faction-locked hard mode stages.
Part of the Crane faction core (Chancer, Scythe, Locke, Laguna). Block build viable for survival. Not a dedicated cleaner or boss-killer, but versatile enough to fill either role depending on dice rolls.
Core Crane sewer fighter. Fortune's Favor's per-Crane-ally scaling provides compounding Skill Damage and Damage Reduction in full Crane teams. Dice Storm's burst handles sewer waves.
Part of the optimal Crane sewer lineup (Chancer, Scythe, Locke, Laguna). Revive on dice-6 provides attrition value. Block build recommended for long sewer runs.
One-shots campaign teams through stage 1760. Dice Storm's multi-hit burst combined with Fortune's Favor's stat scaling makes him a premier campaign carry.
Campaign equipment: Knife + Katar + Khopesh with Yamata + Naga/Toronbo. Campaign 1500 clearable with Chancer as only GM. Late-game role in Pyra death → petrify → Chancer/Scythe cleanup strategy for stage 1800.
